One of Avocado’s main features is Network Abstraction.

We believe that network abstraction will help to reduce the complexity of interacting with Ethereum, providing a simple, consistent interface for using the blockchain, regardless of the underlying implementation or specific network being used.

Network abstractions help to ensure that applications built on top of Ethereum are compatible with different networks and implementations of the blockchain. This makes it easier for users to access and interact with these applications, regardless of the specific setup they are using.

Why do you need to deposit funds first to use Avocado?

Since Avocado provides network abstraction, it's important to ensure all your funds, which are currently spread across multiple networks, get aggregated onto a single interface. After which, you can use it seamlessly without having to worry about network switching or native gas fees anymore.

How to deposit funds to your Avocado wallet

1. You can deposit your funds by scanning the QR code on your Avo interface under “Your Wallet”. If you are using a web wallet like Metamask, copy your wallet address, paste it on the required field, enter the amount and click on Send.

You can deposit from any supported chain, so you can move your segregated funds from multiple networks onto a single interface to utilize them more easily.

If you are using a web wallet like Metamask, copy your wallet address, paste it on the required field, enter the amount and click on Send.

You can deposit funds from any wallet like Rainbow, or Metamask wallet, including centralized wallets such as Coinbase.

Supported chains

These chains are supported currently on Avocado and we are working to support more chains in the future.

🧠 Remember:

You will need to deposit USDC (from any chain) which you can then use to top your gas up. We recommend having at least 5 USDC topped up for gas at all times (more if you’re a Mainnet user).
